Hi Ladies!I'm giving myself a challenge and I want you all to join me.

Summer is coming and I'm getting antsy. I purchased myself a super cheap podometer and I'm challenging myself to see how many steps I can take each week.
Right now I'm not setting a specific goal other than to better myself each week.

So this is what I'm thinking. Lets see how we can each do.
Whomever wants to join, please do so! The more the merrier!
No weigh ins, no diets, just walking.
We all do that already!
This is just a personal goal that I'm thinking we could make fun.

So if you decide to join me, email me each week by 12 on Saturday with the number of steps you've taken.
I'll keep a talley of everyone's numbers and post here on my blog so everyone can see.
Then by the end of each month whomever is in the #1 place will receive a "FABULOUS 'WORTHLESS' (or priceless if you prefer) PRIZE"

APRIL-TECHNIQUE OF THE MONTH

"KISS" WINTER GOOD-BYE!

Kissing Technique is such a fun way to create your own unique pattern with stamps you already have!
To use the Kissing Technique you will need two stamps. One stamp should be a background or design stamp and the other should be your bold solid image you want to stamp onto your project.
1. Ink up your background stamp making sure it is inked well.
2. Take another bold solid image stamp, and using the background stamp as your inkpad “Kiss” the two stamps together creating a new pattern to your image.

Come and enjoy time with others, games, Drawings, Food and Fun while working on those paper projects you don’t find time to do at home, and Help Find the Cure for Leukemia and Lymphoma at the same time!
Early Bird workshop available
Saturday, 8am-10am.
We will be completing a 2 page 12x12 Layout and all the left over supplies are yours! (10% of $25.00 Fee donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of WI and to Jaden Rowekamp.)

Thank you so much for everyone that has helped me with my Close To My Heart Journey so far! I truly could not accomplish any of this with out you as my amazing support system. I am having so much fun meeting new people and CTMH has opened so many doors for me I just am filled with joy anytime I think about it.
I know that 2009 is going to bring so many new adventures including Stampers Club, the May Idea Book Reveal and Crop For A Cause as well as an upcoming Hostess Appreciation Event and Opportunity Breakfast!
It is so hard to contain my excitement for Close To My Heart, my poor husband has to hear about it every single day, especially when the new Idea Books are scheduled to come out! I have definitely found a new appreciation for UPS and it’s almost like Christmas when they arrive!Thank you again, each and everyone!
